The Pros and Cons of the Micro Mini Scooter

There are a lot of good qualities, along with concerns I experienced after getting the micro mini scooter.

Pros of the Micro Scooter

1. It’s durable

The Micro scooter is SO durable. My daughter is not as gentle with her belongings as we’d like her to be (we’re working on it) and the scooter is no exception. She rides that thing every day, all day. She doesn’t go from one end of the hallway to the other without taking it.

Not going to lie, I may have slightly ran it over with my car. It’s still in perfect condition. It is built to last a long time.

2. It’s adjustable

It’s height adjustable. And because it is so durable, it’s going to last a long time. So as she grows, it has a very wide variety of height settings to accommodate for her growth.

3. It rides very smoothly

It is such a smooth ride. She takes turns like a pro. And it goes over bumps effortlessly, like it’s nothing. The way the wheels shift when they’re turning makes it more of a gentle turn, there’s no feeling as if you’re going to fall over.

Because it’s so smooth, it’s so easy for them to balance on. My daughter gets going really fast on that thing and it doesn’t get wobbly or bumpy for her. Even using the brake is easy for them because it’s not difficult for them to balance on one leg while they reach back for the brake.

4. It’s quiet

This scooter is so quiet. You cannot hear it indoor or outdoor. Even if it runs into something, the handle grips are a thick rubber, so they won’t scratch any household items. The only way you know they’re riding the scooter is if you hear their foot pushing off the ground.

5. It’s great for indoor and outdoor riding

It is perfect for indoor and outdoor. Typically, I would’ve asked her to keep a scooter outside. But this one was pricey so I wanted her to get the most use out of it possible. But, it’s never tracked dirt inside, the rubber handles and tires make it so it won’t scratch up the wall, it’s so quiet, and it’s so simple for them to stop they aren’t constantly running into stuff. I think she rides it more inside than outside.

Cons of the Micro Scooter

1. The price

Yes, this is more than I would normally ever pay for a scooter. The only reason I got this scooter is because a friend of mine had one, and my daughter was riding it and fell in love. Naturally, being the cheapskate I was, I said I would go to Wal-Mart and get a cheap knock off. My friend actually stepped in and said they initially did that, but they ended up taking it back because they were so unsatisfied with the quality.

2.  It’s a lean-to-steer scooter

This helps the ride be much smoother, however, it takes a little longer to get the hang of. But once they do, it makes the ride much more enjoyable for them.

Is the Micro Scooter worth the money?

If you’re letting your child ride it as often as mine does, YES. I definitely feel that this scooter is worth the money.
